This workshop, which was held on January 25, 2023 in the building of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, is a continuation of a series of workshops for Working Group No. 13 aimed at developing Methodological Guidelines for monitoring and evaluating development programs for all government agencies. This seminar was devoted to the discussion of the evaluations on the general format of the database and interdepartmental information exchange. The lectures were presented as follows:
- Presentation on “The process of collection, processing, analysis and distribution of statistical information” by Mr. Kamarzoda Hukmiddin, Deputy Head of the Department of the National Accounts System of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
- Presentation by “Interdepartmental information sharing as part of the process of evaluating the implementation of development strategies/programs” by Ms. Madjon Manuchehra – Head of Main Department, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
- Presentation “Report on the practical aspects of the processing of information sources in the evaluation process as part of the justification of strategies/programs and their implementation” by Ms. Muminova Farida, Ph.D., Head of Department of Modeling and Forecasting of Socio - Economic Development, the Institute of economy and demography of the National Academy of sciences of Tajikistan.
At the end of the workshop, the participants asked their questions, and also discussed proposals for the development of a Methodological Guide for M&E of development programs in terms of evaluations on the general format of the database and interdepartmental information exchange.
