Tursunzoda City is located 55km west off Dushanbe with 300 thousand population. The city is famous for the aluminum Giant TALCO company whose product is one of the main components of export of Tajikistan.
Mr. NAZIRZODA Muhsiddin Ahtam conducted his ex-participants’ seminar in the city hall on Friday afternoon, March 17. Nearly 151 city office staff gathered in the hall with the attendance of the honorable Ms. Azimova Sanoat, the chief of the city executive board of City Tursunzoda.
NAZIRZODA Muhsiddin Ahtam, the Head of Trade and Economy in the city office made a presentation first focused on the basic Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and National Development Strategy (NDS), and then told his experience in Japan, especially about the Kochi Prefectural Industrial Development program. He also mentioned his impressions on the success story of Umaji village in producing the Yuze processed food and selling them all over Japan.
After his presentation, Prof. Niino, the adviser to the secretariate of the National Development Council delivered a short speech about the bottom-up approach in creating Kochi Prefectural Industrial Development Program through the mobilization of discussions among the community people.
