February 1, 2023 at 14:00 in the conference hall of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan as part of the activities of the interdepartmental working group on social protection under the National Development Council under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan with the support of the United Nations Development Program in Tajikistan to be reflected in the Second Review national discretion.
The round table was attended by members of the Interdepartmental Working Group from among representatives of ministries and departments, the private sector and the circle of scientists and experts involved in the process of developing the Second Review of the National Volunteer.
The round table was chaired by the coordinator of the National Voluntary Review M. M. Majon. began and noted that the purpose of the event within the framework of the work of the Working Group of the National Development Council under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on social protection is to consider the topic of social protection (HRO 3) taking into account the interests of vulnerable groups of the population (HRU 10).
It was noted that one of the key aspects of the National Voluntary Review is the observance of the principle “Leave no one behind”, and in this regard, with the support of the UN Office in Tajikistan, a non-governmental organization Bureau for Human Rights, an analytical report on vulnerable groups of the population was prepared. Report on the analysis of the rights and interests of such groups of people as the disabled, the elderly, people with HIV and those released from places of detention.
According to the program, during the round table, SHIM development coordinator M.M. delivered a speech and introduced the concept and content of the commentary to the audience. In particular, it was noted that clarification of national will is a process by which countries assess and propose the state of national development and progress as part of the monitoring process and review mechanism towards the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. In the process of developing the Commentary, the relevance of the issue of social protection is being studied, taking into account the interests of vulnerable segments of the population for a stable and bright future.
Also during the event, Zokirova N., Muminova F. He presented his view on the country's achievements in the field of social protection (HRU 3), taking into account the interests of the vulnerable population (HRU 10) to be reflected in the second review of the national will, and a comprehensive discussion was held between members working group.
In the discussions on the coverage of these topics in the National Voluntary Review, concerning the issues of information exchange, the head of the department for the protection of children's rights Khudoyarzoda M., Davudkhani M., chief specialist of the quality department Education of the Ministry of Education spoke.

At the end of the round table, the coordinator for the development of the SMP expressed gratitude to the members of the working group for participating in the work of the round table, mobilizing the joint efforts of ministries and departments, a circle of industry experts, civil society and development partners for cooperation in the development of the second voluntary national review of the country and at the high level of content and comprehensiveness of key aspects of sustainable development and called for worthy representation in the international arena.
It should be noted that the second voluntary national review of the Republic of Tajikistan as part of the implementation of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030, taking into account the country's achievements in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, was prepared at the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), the presentation of which is planned be held in July 2023 in New York City, United States of America.
In order to prepare an explanation, in accordance with the order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan dated August 13, 2022 No. 29526 (29-6.2), an interdepartmental working group was created at the expense of representatives of the relevant ministries and agencies, and a group of industry experts was also involved.
Also at the round table on December 12, 2022, the concept of the second voluntary national review and the action plan for its development were presented.
According to the concept of the second voluntary national review, a broad theme of green development of the national economy for a sustainable and bright future is proposed.
