On November 15 and 16, 2023, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan held a consultative seminar of the 13th Working Group “Monitoring and Evaluation” on the topic of integration and approval of indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their interrelation within the framework of creating a regional information platform of the Sustainable Development Goals development for the countries of Central Asia.
In this seminar, Program Specialist on Green Economy and Employment, UNDP Regional Hub in Istanbul Mikhail Pelakh and Director of the Secretariat for Sustainable Development Goals of the Economic Research Institute JSC Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytgul Khambar conducted a seminar on information coordination for the platform for monitoring SDG indicators ( national indicators for the platform for monitoring SDG indicators for Tajikistan, SDG targets for the social block (SDGs - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), a workshop on harmonization and validation of the relationship of national SDG indicators (for the economic block (SDGs 7, 8, 9 , 10, 11), on the environmental block (SDG - 6, 12, 13, 14, 15), on issues of increasing the efficiency of institutions - (SDG 16) and on issues of partnership development - (SDG 17).
At the same time, at the meeting, members of the working group discussed the SDG objectives and indicators related to the Republic of Tajikistan and also proposed changes and additions to it.
