Japanese lecturers coming back again to the webinar series.
The lecture on “Practice of Policy Evaluation in Japanese Government” was held in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade by Japanese lecturer, Professor Hisao Tsukamoto (Waseda University), Former Director General of Administrative Evaluation Bureau, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. Such topics were discussed during the webinar:
- legal framework, organizational setup
- methods and practical example
- implementation guideline
- challenges
The lecturer answered many questions of participants during the “Question and Answer” section, such as:
- Is there a penalty for an erroneous or incorrect evaluation?
- Is there a risk that ministries and departments will underestimate the evaluation criteria and is there any control over this? and etc..
