This webinar was held on the topic of performance measurement and evaluation indicators. The lecturer for this webinar was Professor Tatsuya Ono, Faculty of Regional Science, Department of Regional Sciences, Tottori University (2004), Chief Researcher of Fujitsu Research Institute (2001-2004), Mitsubishi Research Institute (1994-2001)
The event was held in the building of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The content of the lecture was performance measurement; measures taken in the central government and in the local government in Japan; correct setting of indicators, as well as the correct interpretation of indicators.
Such subjects were addressed during Question and Answer section as: frequency of seasonal adjustments used in the evaluation Indicators, and to what extent indicators can be used for a generalized evaluation of progress in society and the improvement of the well-being of the population.
