Series of Workshop for improving common formats of Monitoring and Evaluation.

    1. Introductory seminar – Present situation and necessity for Improvement of M&E

This seminar, which took place on July 7, 2022, in the building of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, is the beginning of a series of seminars for the Working Group No. 13 and aims to create a unified monitoring and evaluation report forms common to all the government institutions. This seminar was held as a kick-off meeting for the consecutive 6 upcoming seminars. Lectures were provided as follows:

  1. Ms. Muminova F.M. (Head of the Department of Modelling and Forecasting Socio-Economic Processes at the Institute of Economy and Demography of the National Academy of sciences of Tajikistan. PhD on Economics); "Transfer of methodological aspects of progressive monitoring of the implementation of development strategies and programs"
  2. Ms. Madjon M.M. (Head of the Investment Policy and Regional Development Department at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. PhD on Economics); “Actual status of the process of M&E of the implementation of the strategic and development programs”.
  3. Mr. Hiroshi Niino (JICA Expert to the Secretary of NDC). Explained Japanese examples of common report formats of exante-evaluation and post evaluation.

The discussion was held on the new series of seminars and practical works of WG No. 13, the main principles and aspects of M&E in the NDS and Mid-term Development Program, as well as proposals for creating a unified form of M&E report were discussed.
